Billing in Avaros requires the input of your billing number (or group number) and MCEDT credentials. Follow the instructions below to set up both and start billing!
1. Enter your Billing Number
To enter a provider's billing number (or group billing number), go into 'Administration' → 'User Management' → 'Manage Users' → Search and select the provider you would like to add billing information for → go to 'Billing Information' on their account → input the billing number or billing group number in the appropriate fields.
💡If you are billing individually, input your billing number (also called OHIP number) into the 'Provincial Billing #' text box. If you are in a billing group, input your billing group number in the 'Billing Group #' text box💡
2. Enter your Go Secure Credentials
Avaros submits your clinic's claims through the Medical Claims Electronic Data Transfer or "MCEDT" Mailbox. In order to use the MCEDT mailbox, you must have a Ministry of Health Go Secure Username and password.
