Vaccine lot numbers are automatically saved in the system once they have been entered in a patient chart and will be available for future use.

To Add Lot Numbers in Advance

If you would like to make a vaccine lot number available before using it during an actual patient encounter, you can preload it using a test patient.

Steps

1. Open a Test patient chart.
2. Enter the vaccine administration with the desired lot number.
3. Save the entry.

Once saved, the lot number will be available for future entries in the system for that vaccine.
