The trending lab results feature allows for a convenient comparison of lab test values and the evaluation of their fluctuations over a period of time. 

Trending Lab Values

To trend a specific lab value, go to the 'Labs' section of the patient's eChart and open a Lab report. 

You can now go ahead and select a value by clicking on it to view all historical trending values associated with it. 

The trending values, completion date, and time of the test results are displayed here. You can also choose to 'Print' or 'Plot' the trending report.

Grid Display 

To access the Grid Display, in the patient's eChart, simply click on the '+' symbol in the 'Labs' section and select the 'Grid Display' option. This will allow you to view the lab values displayed in a grid format, showing their trends over a period of time. 

Row Display 

To access the Row Display, in the patient's eChart, click on the '+' symbol in the 'Labs' section and select the 'Row Display' option. This will allow you to select values and compare them in a row format.
