Often times this issue can be caused due to the time zone on your computer. The system uses this to determine the times to display in the schedule. To change the time zone to EST, you'd just need to update your computer's system time to EST.
Here are instructions on how to make those changes:
Mac (macOS)
- Go to System Settings → General → Date & Time.
- Turn Set time zone automatically using your current location on. If it’s incorrect, toggle it off and manually select Eastern Time (New York).
- To confirm, open Terminal and type
date, it should show EST or EDT.
Windows (PC)
- Right-click the clock → select Adjust date and time.
- Turn Set time zone automatically on. If wrong time zone is shown, turn it off and select (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) manually.
- To confirm, open Command Prompt and type:
systeminfo | find "Time Zone"
Browser Check (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
If times still appear off:
- Close and reopen your browser after adjusting your system time.
- Clear cached data (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data).
- Visit https://time.is - it should display Your time zone: Eastern Time (ET).
