This article walks through how to record a patient visit with AI Scribe, from starting the recording to bringing your finished note into Avaros.
Recording Your Visit
- Open up the AI Scribe from any patient eChart.
- Select the note template, language and toggle on real time translation as needed from the drop-down menus.
- When ready, click the red microphone icon to start a new recording and begin your patient visit.
- Ensure to select View Transcripts to ensure the AI is picking up your voice successfully, if not please review troubleshooting here.
- Have a natural conversation with your patient.
- When you're finished, click the checkmark icon at the bottom of the display to end your recording. Avaros AI will immediately bring you to your generated note.
Once you're finished reviewing your note, click Paste into EMR to copy into the patients eChart automatically.
Auto-Detecting CPP and eForms
Avaros AI can automatically detect Cumulative Patient Profile (CPP) information and eForms mentioned during your conversation with the patient, giving you the option to add them directly into your EMR.
CPP includes the patient's medical history, social history, family history, and risk factors. These are automatically detected during your conversation and added to the corresponding section in Avaros.
You can accept or discard each entry individually by clicking the checkmark or "X" beside it, or use Accept and Discard under your inserted note to manage them in bulk.
